Overview
The ultra-thin vertical exposed fan coil unit requires no suspended ceiling. It is floor-mounted against the wall for direct installation, with easy site work and simple maintenance. It uses gravity drainage and needs no drain pump, reducing potential faults. It runs quietly at three fan speeds with stable heat exchange performance. The complete unit is fitted with an outer casing and can be installed exposed.

Working Principle
The ultra-thin vertical exposed fan coil unit works by forcing indoor air to circulate and exchange heat with chilled or hot water inside the coil, thereby regulating indoor temperature.
The process is broken down into the following stages:
(1) Air Intake & Filtration: The built-in fan draws room air into the unit. Air first flows through an air filter to trap dust and contaminants, ensuring the supply air remains relatively clean.
(2) Core Heat Exchange: This is the key stage. Filtered air is forced across the coil (heat exchanger). Chilled water or hot water from the central air conditioning system circulates within the coil.
(3) Cooling Mode: Chilled water circulates inside the coil. As air flows over the cold coil surface, heat transfers to the water and the air is cooled. At the same time, water vapour in the air condenses into droplets, delivering dehumidification.
(4) Heating Mode: Hot water circulates inside the coil. As air flows over the warm coil surface, it absorbs heat and is heated up.
(5) Air Discharge & Temperature Control: Conditioned cold or warm air is blown into the room through the unit outlet by the fan and mixes with indoor air to adjust room temperature.
It can be likened to a fan equipped with a water cooling / water heating system. The internal coil produces cooling or heating capacity by circulating chilled and hot water. The fan then discharges the conditioned air. Repeated air circulation keeps the room cool or warm.
